Today... Arcadia!

Along with the "No 'Mo Snow" Daily Deal from the MSQC $3.33 a yard for up to 3 yards of white. So happy!
you know what this means? I can finish bordering my White Noise quilt!

He also brought me some Sherbet pips love! Eek! So excited!

Filtering out the "White Noise"

These blocks are finally finished and sewn into lovely long strips
with my fun little applique shapes
(still don't know the name :D )
making there way all across those white strips!
I'm calling it White Noise and I'm thrilled to finally be filtering this out of my to-do box!

Working on a video tutorial for it too! Fun!

What do you call this shape?

I don't even know.

But I like it and I cut almost a hundred of them which puts me with a little over one hundred done. I need 240 I think. I cut until I ran out of steam a seam, so, I'll be heading to the quilt shop soon I think!
I can't wait to start putting blocks together!

There goes Peter Cottontail!

Easter is over as Peter Cottontail was hopping down the road yesterday morning...

...and thank goodness he left a little of his cotton goodness behind!

The Easter Bunny knows what everyone likes!

I do know the meaning of Easter but I also like to play so here's a message from some very happy cousins on Easter morning!

A quilt for my house

It's rare that the projects I make actually stay home with me. They always have places to go and other friends to hang out with. They usually don't come home after leaving either, they're worse than a teenager.
The last project I have to show you that began on my 1 person retreat is the beginnings of an Arcadia layer cake quilt.
I'm really excited about it!
Maybe it has to do with this gray trend happening around blogland (I'm getting ready to start a gray project for one of my PIF's), but it's going to live in the guest room down stairs and will be the focal/inspiration point for the rest of the room.

After finishing all the strip piecing and almost all the applique cutting I decided I needed to order another layer cake.

1 just isn't enough!

Look at that stack it looks so small, I need to get it a little bigger :)
Bigger is better right? :D In this case yes!

It's Jelly Roll Week Somewhere!

I think I miss spoke in my last post

and all my wonderful links were for naught! :)
