What a fabulous combination :) I don't quilt (yet, I'm chicken, I am going to be learning how in August), but my grandmother does and she made an AMAZING quilt for my daughter with big pieced applique animals and each animal has a 3-d piece for her to pull on or chew or whatever. I am so excited for her to move up to a big-girl bed so we can put it on her bed and decorate the room around it. Anything with cupcakes is definitely worth telling people about :) so I've added you to my blogroll (as Designing Happy).

  168. Pick me pick me! What a sweet blog. I plan to add you to my blogroll tonight! My favorite quilty project? It wasn't the most skillful quilt but everyone in my online mom's group got together and did a block for a ragged edges quilt. We made it for a mama whose baby was stillborn in January. We put a lot of love into it!

  170. I am a HUGE cupcake fan, and a huge fabric fan - this is perfect! Will be hunting down the pattern!

My favourite quilty project is baby blankets - fleece/minky fabric, but with a patchwork border and initial/flower. So quick and so cute!
